im afraid of my plywood

so i have an 8'x4' sheet of birch ply i want to use for a large scale woodcut and print on fabric/washi with a baren... the only problem with this plan is that i've just been staring at it instead of drawing on it. it seems like i should have a substantial image to fit the size (and damage to my wallet).

anyways, i'll post some progress as soon as some progress happens :)

here's some sketches/ideas that i'm leaning towards:

  2. Wait. I just noticed on the first wolf drawing the clouds are upside down.
    is that supposed to go the other way or are the clouds just like that?
    or does it go both ways!?
